"I was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee.
I began my higher education at Pellissippi State where I met my wife Jeminaka. I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Political Science with a concentration in Public Administration and a minor in Food and Agricultural Business. I worked as a custodian at the University of Tennessee before I was afforded the opportunity to attend law school at the University of Memphis. I received my Juris Doctor from the University of Tennessee.
I attend Al-Anoor Mosque at the corner of Thirteenth and Grand Avenue. My wife and I live in Lonsdale. I have been a practicing attorney since November of 2016. My practice is focused on being a Guardian Ad Litem, which means I represent children who have been abused and neglected. My legal practice has given me first hand experience helping others deal with issues such as poverty, substance abuse, mental health crises, and violence. "
